Paul has the right credentials, he is the right race, from the elite tribe of Benjamin, a respected religious Pharisee, but none of those things were a gain to Paul. Not only did Paul count his accomplishments as a loss, he counted all things to be a loss in view of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus.
